Dovedale
Dovedale is between Mill Dale and Thorp. The River Dove cuts prettily through Dovedale, which is extremely popular and gets quite congested on a hot summers day. The Stepping Stones are a well known and well liked natural feature of Dovedale, by children and adults alike, situated at the end of a path and with a grassy area to lie back and enjoy the scenery. Tissington Trail
The Tissington Trail set up by the Peak National Park is a scenic route 13 miles in length, running from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay. The trail follows the old Buxton to Ashbourne railway and the rambler or rider finds himself travelling through the matchless countryside of the National Park without the interference of cars, pollution or noise. more informatin click here
