Spent 2 nights here for my birthday. Lovely warm welcome and a lovely clean cosy room. An absolutely delicious 3 course breakfast with the tastiest cooked mushrooms to die for. Will certainly visit again in the better weather as we had 2 really wet days. Hope for better luck next time

Arrived to a warm welcome from Susan and Terry and shown to our very well equipped rooms . My mother had the room downstairs with a amazing view out to the fields with all sorts of animals , donkey, chickens, ducks, sheeps and in the adjacent field cows . Ourselves and my sister had upstairs rooms with equally amazing views and all were clean and comfortable. All agreed at the very well cooked and presented breakfast the next morning that the beds were really comfortable and all slept well . Terry and Susan were excellent hosts and we came away feeling that we had stayed with family for the evening not just a b&b. If in the area again needing shelter and sustenance we will definitely return . My sister on the way home realised she had left her coat in the wardrobe and rang Susan who happily took it to family who were still at the Bentley brook hotel ! Fabulous service ,people and everything !! Thank you so much x

Had a very pleasant stay. The proprietors are very friendly and obliging. Our room overlooked open countryside and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for cycling the nearby Tissington Trail.

We had a lovely stay here this weekend. The owners were very friendly and there was a real personal service. You order your breakfast in advance so we arrived downstairs to the smell of bacon frying, yum! I loved the view across the countryside and they keep sheep, chickens and a pony which is a nice site to wake up to. Our room was really pretty and quaint. It was also spotlessly clean with all amenities provided (TV, tea trays and bathroom bottles etc). I loved the ornate tea cups we got too! The breakfast was beautiful (freshly laid eggs were a lovely touch!) I cannot recommend enough (just make sure you don't pass it by, it's a bit tucked out of the way!)

Dear Terry and Susan Just a quick note to thank you so much for making our weekend away so enjoyable. Your B&B is a credit to you and you're brilliant hosts. Terry - the breakfast was sublime!! It's back to the diets tomorrow for us! We feel very lucky to have found such a gem of a B&B and know we will be regular visitors to you.

We were driving back to Loughborough from few days in Peak District and as we drove past Millfields, we decided to have one more night before returning home.We decided this as we has stayed here before and liked the idea of visiting again.Susan and Terry are friendly, welcoming and very accomadating hosts.Room clean, breakfast lovely and really enjoy siting outside looking at the view....and the chickens, while drinking my morning cuppa.Very good value for money.Would recommend 100%.

We stayed at quite short notice for a long weekend over February half term. terry and Susan were so friendly and welcoming and helpful. The bed was super comfy, I had a fantastic night sleep. Ashbourne (which is a couple of miles down the road) had plenty of places to eat and it was an easy drive to anywhere else in the Peak District. The breakfast in the morning was amazing! A full english cooked with little oil and delicious poaches tomatoes. Best I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend!

Dear Susan and Terry,
Just a little note to thank you so much for our really lovely stay at your beautiful b and b last week As well as making us so comfortable and giving us such a warm welcome, you helped to make Will's 65th birthday a day to remember. That evening drinking champagne and chardonnay on your verandah was really good fun! so thank you for your great hospitality-and of course Terry's delicious breakfast!
We hope to see you again one day when we come that way again. with very good wishes
